GAM Appoints Francesca Contini as Client Manager to Strengthen UK Client Relationships and Growth

GAM Investments is pleased to announce the appointment of Francesca Contini as Client Manager in its UK Wholesale Distribution team. She joins the team led by Steven Williams, Head of UK Distribution, and will work alongside Adeyemi Thomas and Tony Morton to support financial advisers, platforms and discretionary managers across the UK.

Francesca brings over 10 years of experience in the financial service industry, with a strong track record in client servicing and business development within asset management. She joins from Pzena Investment Management, where she progressed from a sales support role to a client-facing position, advising intermediary clients. Her appointment enhances GAM’s ability to provide proactive, solutions-led support across the full client journey.

Steven Williams, Head of UK Distribution, commented, “Francesca’s appointment strengthens our commitment to delivering best in class client service for our advisers and wealth managers. She brings strong commercial acumen, a clear understanding of intermediary needs and a drive to help clients access GAM’s differentiated strategies and world-class investment talent.”

Drawing on GAM’s pioneering heritage, combining internal and external investment talent, Albert Saporta has been instrumental in strengthening GAM’s investment team line-up and entering into multiple new partnerships with best-in-class investment managers. GAM is strongly positioned to provide clients with access to differentiated investment strategies across asset classes.

GAM is an independent active investment manager with more than 40 years of experience. Its investment offering spans both traditional and alternative asset classes, shaped by deep expertise, strong conviction and a focus on generating alpha. Clients benefit from GAM’s global distribution platform offering direct access to specialist managers and tailored solutions designed to support portfolio diversification, income generation, capital growth and risk management.

Francesca will work closely with GAM’s investment and client servicing teams to help clients identify relevant strategies and navigate today’s complex markets with confidence. Francesca’s appointment comes at a time of renewed momentum for GAM. With new leadership joining in July and several platform developments underway - including the upcoming European launch of GAM LSA Private Shares - the firm is entering a new and exciting phase of strategic activation and client engagement.

Francesca Contini said, “I am excited to join GAM at such a focused and dynamic point in its evolution. The depth and breadth of GAM’s investment capabilities, combined with its culture of client service, enable me to be a true thought partner to my clients. Together with my colleagues I look forward to supporting our clients with insights and tailored solutions that help them approach portfolio construction, diversification, and returns in a holistic way - all while aiming to deliver a consistent track record of outperformance and meaningful outcomes for their end clients.”
